Designing and producing an online course EdTech's team of Instructional Designers and Course Developers are available to help craft and delivery content for Stanford Medicine courses, Continuing Medical Education projects, and other Deans' level initiatives. Our vision is to transform Stanford Medicine by acting as a catalyst for the adoption of evidence-based, emerging, and engaging educational technology solutions, and to be a leader in the academic community by sharing our best practices.
Stanford Medicine offers free video recording for courses and events in our spaces using our automated recording system. All videos are delivered via a SUNet authenticated webpage as streaming video, a downloadable picture in picture video file. Custom media publication strategies, including public release, may be possible on request. Once capture is scheduled, the presenter should complete the Stanford Speaker Release. Viewing a lecture or event recording EdTech works with faculty and event coordinators to publish media through the LKSC capture network and Canvas.
Each course or event that requests capture will have a dedicated lecture media page created prior to the first scheduled capture. Media links for each scheduled capture will feed through to the lecture media page within hours after the scheduled end of recording.
For Stanford Medicine courses and Stanford University electives that have a Canvas course, the lecture media page will be available as a link in the right-hand course navigation.
For courses that do not have a Canvas course setup or for special events, such as conferences and Grand Rounds, a direct link to the lecture media page is emailed directly to the indvidual that requests capture for the event. If you require the link to a capture, please submit a HelpSU request containing the name of the event, the date and time it took place, and the location that the event was held.

Some classrooms are starting to look more like the movie Minority Report than the classrooms most adults today remember. The two led a pilot program testing classroom designs with a public school in Columbine, Colorado. The classroom also included small discussion areas, individual, pupil directed, learning zones, and large learning galleries that can be updated to fit whatever topic is being taught.
This pilot program is one of many experimenting with new layouts for learning that will make sure that the classrooms of the future look substantially different than the ones of the past. Projectors on their surface are a simple technology that has been around for decades. Historically used to project lecture notes or multimedia presentations, these classroom cornerstones can do so much more.
